An original war-time solid wood model kit by KITE MODELS of a HAWKER TYPHOON, plans dated 9-3-44, box itself is ink stamped on lid ends as HAWKER TEMPEST, there is also some damage to box base along one seam.....I had another of these about 5 years ago and that too was marked as Tempest and had decals with letters ATC even tHough drawing shows MRR., presumably this is down to war-time shortages of materials.The model has fuselage, port and starboard wings, spinner, prop and wood marked for tailplane parts. Missing wheels..........
