1915 EVENING EXPRESS ( CARDIFF ) TOBACCO FUND REPLY CARD FROM THE FRONT............. these were placed in parcels of cigarettes and tobacco that were sent as gifts to the troops serving at the front, monies being raised by appeals to the folks at home. These cards were then filled in and sent back to the paper where the response would be printed in the paper. In WW2 this was run again but with members of the public leaving their address details on a form when they donated, those cards were then sent direct to people who had contributed to the fund ).
This example seems to have been received by and filled in by member of the 2nd Welsh Regt. ? and has been franked by Field Post Office 3 on October 12th 1915.
