Product Information
ORIGINAL JU52 PROP REMOVED FROM JU 52 IN THE PHOTO, LOOK CLOSELY AT THE AIRCRAFTS STARBOARD PROP........THIS IS THAT PROP. REMOVED FROM AIRCRAFT IN 1945, The photo has always been with the prop and came with it when recovered.........
I believe this may well be one of the aircraft involved in Von der Heydtes drop of German Paras at the start of the Battle of the Bulge, several aircraft got lost and some did crash-land up on the Asselborn Ridge area.....There was also a field hospital set up in the area that was re-supplied by Ju52 aircraft crashing on landing but those aircraft are well photographed and are in winter camo paintwork.... this aircraft is not one of those.....Crash site is up on Asselborn Ridge in The Ardennes, The blade still has original data transfer markings although faint....... bent by impact as the aircraft crash landed.... this blade came out of a large collection of Battle of the Bulge relics that had been gathered up in 1945..It included Panther and Mk IV Starters, Dropsides for Flakwagons, lots of German tank optics, halftrack gearboxes...... all sorts of mint condition gear... the vehicle parts are now all in running restored vehicles... the prop. I kept back for myself.......
THIS IS ONLY FOR SALE ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT BUYER COLLECTS FROM LICHFIELD......... I WILL NOT POST TO ANYWHERE.FAR TOO HEAVY.
